Move your Microsoft OS Window with the keyboard

This is a simple method of moving your Windows 7 open window with your keyboard. I need to do this very infrequently but can never remember the keyboard short cut.

Show Plain Text
Text code
  1. Alt-tab or click on the application Window
  2. Press Alt and Space to bring up the application menu
  3. Press M or select move from the menu
  4. User your arrow keys to move the window
  5. Press enter to exit

This method can be handy when your running a remote RDP session and can't see or select the top of the applications window.
